How does DyeSub or sublimation printing work?<\/b>
<\/span><\/p>

DyeSub printing (dye sublimation printing) is a printing process in which dyes are transferred to a substrate using heat (up to 230 \u00b0C). Sublimation printing was introduced as a new printing process in the late 1960s.<\/p>

sublimation <\/b>refers to the direct transition of an element from the solid to the gaseous state of aggregation without first liquefying.\u00a0Technically, this is not entirely correct for DyeSub printers, as it turned out after the naming. A transition between the solid and the gaseous state without going through a liquid phase is im\u00a0<\/span>DyeSub process not possible to 100% - to some extent the dye always liquefies. So the correct name for the process must be dye diffusion.<\/span><\/p>

The (predominantly) gaseous dye penetrates into the material to be printed (textile) or\u00a0<\/span>settles on it (plastic).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

In the dye sublimation process or diffusion process, such media can be printed that mainly consist of polyester (PES), polyacrylonitrile (PAN) or triacetate (CTA) or have a corresponding coating.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
